Providing medical treatment, especially for children, is our core concern. Although we have had to close our main projects in India, we continue to provide medical treatment and also take on new cases. Our former teacher, who is very committed, supports us as coordinator.

In Lebanon, we are in the process of expanding our activities and we will be taking on more medical cases.

In both countries, the economic and political situation is desolate. Over 80% of people live below the poverty line. A certain level of basic medical care is guaranteed by the state, but patients have to pay for anything beyond this themselves - and often fall into very high levels of debt or die because they cannot afford treatment. We have already been able to save some lives in this way.
